2/21/2024 | 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. | Using Effective Commands: A Behavior Management Strategy
Sometimes, educators can send their children mixed messages by the ineffective commands they give them and the lack of consistency. Often these commands are telling children what not to do. But what happens when we tell them what we want them to do instead. In this session learn how to use effective commands and establish clear limits to make school life a lot easier for everyone. Children will feel more confident about themselves and less apt to misbehave. There will be a discussion with Early Childhood Mental Health Consultants on how to follow with noncompliance.
All proceeds from the trainings goes toward creating more professional development opportunities.
